Classes (Both Hons. And Pass) at Rajdhani College, University of Delhi since 1970. A brilliant student his throughout academic career and the recipient of Prof. R.P.Mitra gold Medal for obtaining First Position in the University in M.Sc,he completed his Ph.D. in 1968 in the Chemistry of Natural Products. Thereafter he was Research Officer for about two years in the composite Drug Reasearch Scheme under Prof. T.R. Seshadri, F.R.S at the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi. He also has to his credit a number of research publications in Indian and foreign journals.
